Today we bring spring to the table with the Lemon and ginger chiffon cake with strawberry frosting, a taste and a unique scent that will conquer everyone.
It ‘a delicious variation of the classic American recipe, I enriched the dough with lemon juice and ginger, and once cooked and cooled I covered a delicious strawberry icing. Perfect for any occasion, it is a soft and light cake, very good even if served with only a sprinkling of powdered sugar.

Ingredients

24 cm chiffon cake 1 mould: CHIFFON CAKE PENTALUX MOULD

300 g sugar
290 g flour 00
120 ml seed oil
6 eggs
1 tartar chreme sachet 8 gr
1 cake yeast
1/2 grated lemon peel
100 ml warm water
90 ml lemon juice
1 tablespoon of powder ginger
1 tablespoon of Lemon flavor
1 pinch of salt

For the strawberry frosting
200 g powdered sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
4 big strawberries

For topping
4-5 strawberries
